On Construction Energy Performance Certificates

Our highly experienced On Construction Energy Assessors deliver On Construction Energy Performance Certificates (SAP EPCs or new build EPCs) for new residential and conversion projects across the UK.

We offer SAP EPCs alongside SAP Calculations or as part of a seamless compliance package, including Air Leakage Testing, Extract Fan Flow Rate Testing, and Water Consumption Calculations—ensuring a hassle-free process from start to finish.

What is an On Construction Energy Performance Certificate?

In the UK, all newly constructed or newly converted residential properties must obtain an On Construction Energy Performance Certificate (OCEPC) before occupation, as part of the Building Control sign-off process. The OCEPC provides an energy efficiency rating from A to G, with A being the highest. This rating is derived from a full SAP Calculation, which also ensures compliance with Part L1A or Part L1B of the Building Regulations (or regional equivalent). Only an accredited On Construction Energy Assessor can issue a SAP EPC, which remains valid for 10 years for future sales or lettings.

Water Consumption Calculations

At Quodox Energy, our highly experienced in-house SAP Assessors are fully accredited as On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors (OCDEAs), providing SAP EPCs for newly built properties.

In addition to SAP EPCs, we offer a range of essential building compliance services, including Air Leakage Testing, Extract Fan Flow Rate Testing, and Water Consumption Calculations—ensuring full compliance with Building Control requirements.
