A Domestic Energy Performance Certificate assesses how energy efficient a residential property is, rating it from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It’s produced by a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor following an on-site inspection covering insulation, heating, glazing, ventilation and lighting.
The certificate sets out the property’s current rating, its potential rating if recommended improvements are made, and an estimate of typical energy costs.
